Okay We Get It, Adam Gase Sold His Soul To The Devil Or Maybe Woody Johnson

By The Chief

How did we ever think this guy was just a regular person?

In a not unanticipated move, the Jets have dropped the would be star running back Le’Veon Bell. I say ‘would be’ because if he was on any other team he would be a star running back. Any other team. He could be on the Chargers with 3 offensive linemen and still be a star. You know why? Because he would get the ball.

This season, in two games, he was given a measly 19 rushing attempts and an absolutely horrendous 3 passing targets. To compare, in the last year Bell played on the Steelers, he was given the ball 245 times and thrown to 107 times. So to say that Le’Veon bell was being misused on the Jets pathetic offense is a drastic understatement.

That brings me to my point. Why did the Jets drop their 14 million dollar running back instead of firing the incompetent coach who wouldn’t give him the ball? Easy. He sold his soul to the devil, or maybe Woody Johnson. It’s hard to tell for sure. But it’s definitely the only thing that makes any sense. In 2019, Bell complained about not getting the ball enough. When Gase replied to his offseason woes by giving in and telling him he’d be utilized correctly in the offense, everything looked like it was moving in the right direction. That’s not the Jets though, and when he refused to give Bell the ball again, he should’ve been fired. Any normal GM would have canned him in the middle of a football Sunday. The only explanation is that Gase sold his soul to Woody Johnson, the devil seemed like a stretch so I’m sticking to the Woody Johnson theory until proven wrong, and in return was given a head coaching spot on the Jets forever. It was quite obviously the worst deal in the history of the universe.
