The Astros were just about as lost as that plane that crashed on the island with the others and that weird smoke monster. They didn’t know what to do when the league took away their ability to cheat. “Why can’t you be Roger Goodell? He let’s Patriots cheat whenever they want!”. That was just one of the arguments that Jose Altuve and the Astros made in defense of their 2017 championship riddled with asterisks.
The league sadly would no longer allow them to cheat, meaning that they would need to find new creative ways to win baseball games. Their latest venture into cheating without actually cheating was to grab an earpiece and listen to the radio broadcast of the game while up at bat. They would listen to the commentator’s guess as to which pitch would come next. I’ll let you decide how well that has been going for them.
