New MLB Schedule to Include 4 Football Games

It seems as though every time another sport makes a big announcement, the NFL follows up with something a level above. The day Will Zalatoris finally broke his career-long pattern of finishing second, the NFL announced an 11 game ban for noted sex offender Deshaun Watson. In 2022, with the NFL season winding down, and a rookie QB in the superbowl, Tom Brady decided to announce his first retirement, somehow overshadowing the NFL with more of the NFL. This time, they went after the MLB schedule.

It seems like they may have gone a little too far. Rob Manfred and the MLB were so excited to announce that in 2023, for the first time ever, every single MLB team would play each other at least once throughout the season. The world seemed to take this new news incredibly well. The MLB schedule would be changing for the better. The average fan of a great team will now be able to see how their team stacks up against the best before ultimately meeting in the world series.

The excitement did not last though, as when Roger Badell and the higher ups at the NFL saw the news on this new MLB schedule, they had to act. “They wanna play every team in the country?” Badell said over the phone. We believe he took the phone call from his $18,000 toilet. “We’ve got teams too. They’ll play our teams.”

If Mr. Badell says it, so it shall be. Each NFL team will now play against one division of the NFL in a game of football. “No, we’re not expecting our teams to dominate. People have been asking how the Yankees would stack up against the crap teams like the Jets for years. Well, they’ll find out how next season.”

The first game of the 2023 MLB season is slated to take place in AT&T Stadium, as the Boston Red Sox will take on the hometown Dallas Cowboys. The current line from Fanduel inc is Cowboys -180000- the biggest favorite ever on MLB opening day.
