In a shocking turn of events, the man most considered to be the greatest quarterback of all time took a loss Sunday afternoon. But this time it wasn’t on the field. It was on the golf course. Brady and Phil Mickelson just narrowly took the loss from Tiger and Peyton Manning. Now if you know football, you know about the Patriots long run of cheating and getting away with it, spearheaded by Bill Belichick and the GOAT himself. Although, this time it wasn’t his doing.
“Yeah, I did it,” said a very nonchalant Peyton Manning. “It was time Tom got a taste of his own medicine. I was thinking if he plays better with deflated balls he’d be worse with overinflated ones.”
And he was right. Tom started off horrendous with the overinflated balls, unable to get a shot to fly straight. It was a charity game so no one really cared who won, and Peyton’s cheating kind of went under the radar, but it was definitely effective.
“I felt bad after he started off so bad and it seemed like El Tigre and I had a pretty stable lead, so I snuck up to his cart and replaced the overinflated balls with regular ones. Worked like a charm.”
And that proves what we all already knew. When professional quarterbacks cheat, they win, and no one cares.
