When the Woj Bomb dropped in early March that Rudy Gobert had the coronavirus and as a result the NBA season would be put on hold almost everyone considered that a loss. While the Knicks were already eliminated from the playoffs the fans dreams of a stretch run where all their former first round picks may have gotten a chance to play over Taj Gibson and Elfrid Payton were dashed. James Dolan on the other hand hasn’t been roasted in so long he may never want the NBA to return. In a recent tell all with literally dozens of fans that attended his band’s concert, Dolan stated “Quarantine has been great, the Knicks haven’t lost in almost two months and I haven’t had to kick out any fans”. He said with a chuckle, “I’m undefeated, beat the ‘Roni’ and haven’t lost since March”.
When asked why he kicks out fans who chant ‘Sell the team’, Jimmy said he really just really wants to see the team succeed and doesn’t care about public criticism at all. Despite the team’s 21-45 record this year Dolan was still upbeat. He mentioned looking forward to scouting PF’s Obi Toppin and Onyeka Okongwu as possible draft targets to help balance out the roster.
