Conor McGregor Checks Out Of Attention Addiction Rehab To Get Back To Training

By The Chief

Nearly a year after the champion southpaw took down Donald Cerrone by technical knockout, and 4 months after his latest retirement announcement, McGregor is once again in the spotlight following his latest in a long line of random appearances on my phone’s homescreen.

“Ha! I tricked you all. I’m not actually retiring you fools. I’m just addicted to the spotlight,” McGregor told our reporters in some sort of foreign accent. “However, I will be temporarily checking out of attention rehab in order to commence training.”

McGregor was previously discovered to have checked himself into attention rehab as a plea for attention and was promptly checked into attention rehab rehab. This is actually what he checked out of. Peeled Sports had previously predicted that he would return to the ring in the fall of 2020 (https://www.peeledsports.com/hodgepodge-2/2kh8rttf3dcc86xc5e9trgekyjmm9s). He will return to face Dustin Poirier in January of 2021, marking the longest retirement of his career at 6 months.
