Small Time Lion Tamer Traded To An NFL Team

You guys remember Matt Stafford? He was a promising quarterback at the University of Georgia in 2008, but instead of continuing a career in football, he decided to go into the circus where he’s been a lion tamer ever since.

He would spend his days in the cages trying to whip the lions into shape so that they would be able to put on a halfway decent show, which if you’ve ever attended the Detroit Circus you’ll know he has not been able to do.

So he wasn’t a great lion tamer. That’s okay, because just like the Rookie from the movie The Rookie, he’s gonna get another chance to go to the big leagues after years away from the game. I for one am hoping for the best for Stafford. It’s always nice when an old guy comes back to the league and tries to win it all. It’s like Brett Favre. Place your bets now for a Rams NFC Championship loss.
